Currently enrolled in the College of Southern Nevada's Secondary Education program, Olivia Turner is pursuing licensure to teach High School English and Language Arts.
An intersex woman who has faced discrimination, homelessness, and disabling injury, Olivia's experiences have left her with a deeply empathetic and relational teaching style that connects well with students from a variety of backgrounds. She currently work with Scouting America's Scoutreach program where they engage at-risk students in curriculum focusing on leadership, interpersonal, and life skills.
