Currently enrolled in the College of Southern Nevada's Secondary Education program, Olivia "Cass" Turner is pursuing licensure to teach High School Social Studies and Sociology.

A transgender person who has faced discrimination, homelessness, and disabling injury, Cass's experiences have left them with a deeply empathetic and relational teaching style that connects well with students from a variety of backgrounds. They currently work with Scouting America's Scoutreach program where they engage at-risk students in curriculum focusing on leadership, interpersonal, and life skills.
